Labex LC-AS88 is a fully automated benchtop Immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining solution designed to significantly increase slide throughput, making it ideal for both clinical In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) testing and research applications. The system delivers an optimal balance of automation, flexibility, and high precision for modern laboratories.

High Processing Capacity

The instrument can process up to 88 slides per staining run, with vertical slide positioning to optimize space utilization and staining performance. In addition, it is equipped with 60 reagent positions, enabling uninterrupted and complex workflows.

Open System and Flexibility

Labex LC-AS88 supports a highly flexible open or closed system. Users may work with company-supplied antibodies and reagents, while also having full freedom to use laboratory-developed or third-party reagents to meet specific laboratory requirements.

Workflow Efficiency

To ensure accurate sample and reagent traceability, the system supports QR-coded slides and reagents. The instrument package includes a computer, monitor, label printer, and starter kit, providing a ready-to-use turnkey solution.

Precision and Speed

The staining cycle is fast and reliable, with an average duration of 4 to 4.5 hours. Primary antibody dispensing is performed via a high-precision plunger pump, with a volume range of 100–150 µL per slide.

Temperature and Reaction Control

The system features on-board DAB preparation and advanced thermal control, including a fast slide heating ramp rate and gradual slide cooling to preserve sample integrity. The process is completed with hematoxylin counterstaining.

Safety and Waste Management

Laboratory safety is enhanced through separate handling of toxic and non-toxic waste, along with automatic liquid waste level detection.
